We are open for face to face appointments. Before visiting us please read through the following.

Patients health and wellbeing is our top priority and our aim is to minimise any risk of infection.

Prior to your visit to the Clinic please check that you are not suffering from any of the main symptoms as listed on the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/

• high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

• new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

• loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you have noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Also please let us know if you are in the high / moderate risk category – as an online consultation / telephone is more suited to you at this present time.

If you or anyone you live with has been diagnosed or is displaying the symptoms noted above, please contact the clinic for an online / telephone consultation.

Attending appointments

Appointments are staggered to ensure that you only have contact with your practitioner.

The reception area is currently out of use and you are requested to attend at your scheduled appointment time and not beforehand. There is a door entry buzzer by the front entrance and please ring to notify the practitioner on arrival.

We ask you not to bring anything with you that you will not need – just yourself and a payment card. Coats, wallets, handbags etc are potential surfaces to spread the virus, and hard to decontaminate.

On arrival, you will be asked to remove your shoes and leave them outside the treatment room, to wash your hands in the bathroom immediately on entering the building which will have been disinfected since the departure of the last patient.

Where possible patients are requested to also wear fluid resistant masks

Infection Control - before and after appointments

All hard surfaces will be cleaned in the clinic room, hallway and bathroom using an appropriate sanitising product/wipe.

Cleaning of flooring in clinic rooms and common areas.

Rooms will be aerated.

Use of PPE

Fluid Resistant Surgical Masks are worn by all practitioners

Gloves are worn along with a plastic apron

These will be changed after every appointment
